RUNAWAY JACKET - GREY

This sleeveless jacket was inspired by seventies rock, and more specifically by the style of the Runaways. Runaways... the name alone sets the tone: independence, freedom, audacity... it's all there. It's all there in the Runaways, a band of no-nonsense girls who are rehabilitating the masculine world of rock... A story we loved! 

And then there's the fake fur... This animal, wild side that appeals to us and resonates with our quest for free spirits, wild souls... So the idea came to us all of a sudden... Rather than slipping the sleeveless waistcoat under the leather, why not 'tune up' our old leathers a bit, and make them 'wild', by slipping this sleeveless waistcoat over them?  

And then there's the nod to the MCs... We're all familiar with the famous crew leather jacket that bikers wear over their checked shirts and denim jackets... Here it's the same thing, a little jacket that you slip over your leather, to slip your back protector in and sport a chic, wild and feminine look with the pretty fur! 

Of course, we've thought of everything! We've even thought of incorporating a zipped pocket for the back protector... Comfortable in my leather, I can also wear the sleeveless waistcoat over a denim jacket, a perfecto or any other jacket of my choice... in any case, the back protector stays with me!
